OSU-NRL support for RTE: FY-23 First Call Expected to Open 10/1/2022

Posted:

Nuclear Science User Facilities (NSUF) has announced that a Rapid Turnaround Experiment (RTE) call will open on October 1, 2022. The Ohio State University Nuclear Reactor Laboratory is pleased to have supported researchers with multiple successful RTE awards in the recent past.

Researchers can review the details on NSUF’s website: https://nsuf.inl.gov/Page/rte. As stated on the website, "While priority will be given to proposals that further the direction of DOE's nuclear energy research programs, the NSUF will consider all technically feasible proposals for scientific merit and selection."

Proposals are due no later than October 31, 2022 at 4pm Mountain Time. The winning proposals are estimated to begin in January and the work must be completed within 9 months of the award. If chosen, individual researchers have the opportunity to utilize the NRL facility at no cost. If you would like to discuss a proposal opportunity with our staff, please send an email to reactor@osu.edu for the fastest reply.

The NRL is always interested in finding ways that we can be of assistance to experimenters. If you are interested in receiving email updates with news like this, please let us know by sending an email to reactor@osu.edu.
